Langken Energy highlights the role of cooling tower blades in significantly improving energy efficiency for heavy industries like steel, cement, and petrochemicals. These blades enhance airflow through the cooling tower, which increases the evaporation rate and heat dissipation while reducing the energy needed to power fans. This leads to better cooling performance, lower power consumption, and more stable operations.
In a recent collaboration with Baosteel Group in Shanghai, Langken tested 20 cooling tower blades and achieved a 22% improvement in energy savings. Following this success, Langken will lead the design and development of custom blade upgrades for Baosteel’s cooling systems. Similar cooling tower enhancements have been adopted by major players such as POSCO, Lafarge, Shell, and ExxonMobil, showing the widespread impact and value of this energy-saving technology.
