Langken Energy has introduced a next-generation magnetic levitation aerator for aquaculture, marking a significant technological leap in fish and shrimp pond oxygenation. Leveraging high-speed, permanent magnet synchronous magnetic levitation turbines, the system operates at 20,000 rpm and achieves high energy efficiency with minimal mechanical wear. Deployed at Zhongyang Pufferfish Farm in China, each 22 kW aerator uses only 12.5 kW to oxygenate 10 ponds across a 6.7-hectare site — delivering microporous oxygenation at depths of up to 2.5 m while consuming just 60% of its rated load.

Compared to traditional Roots-type or multistage compressor aerators, Langken Energy’s system offers over 30% electricity savings and up to 15 years of maintenance-free operation due to its frictionless design. This innovation not only significantly reduces power costs but also positions magnetic levitation technology as a transformative force for an efficient and sustainable aquaculture.
